Lorejack Terms of Service

Lorejack is a tabletop roleplaying campaign management platform designed to help users organize, store, and share campaign materials, including but not limited to notes, characters, maps, documents, images, and other user-created content.

Lorejack exists to support tabletop communities by providing tools for campaign organization and collaboration.

To use certain features of Lorejack, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Providing accurate account information.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must not:

• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
• Create accounts for fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account.

Users retain ownership of content they upload, create, or store through Lorejack (“User Content”). Lorejack does not claim ownership of your campaign materials, including:

• Original stories
• Characters
• Settings
• Artwork
• Maps
• Notes
• Documents
• Other creative works uploaded by you

By uploading User Content, you grant Lorejack a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content only as necessary to provide and operate the Service. This license exists solely to:

• Store your content.
• Display your content to you and users you authorize.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the operation of the Service.

Lorejack does not sell User Content.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload to Lorejack complies with applicable laws and does not violate the rights of others. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or authority to upload and use any content you submit.

You are solely responsible for any claims, damages, losses, or legal disputes arising from User Content you upload, including but not limited to:

• Copyright infringement claims.
• Trademark infringement claims.
• Unauthorized use of artwork, writing, music, maps, game materials, or other intellectual property.
• Violations of third-party licenses or agreements.

Lorejack does not verify ownership, licensing, or legal permission for User Content uploaded by users. Lorejack is not responsible for determining whether uploaded content infringes upon third-party rights.

Users are expected to respect creators, publishers, artists, writers, and other intellectual property owners. Users should only upload content they:

• Created themselves;
• Have permission to use;
• Have obtained through a valid license;
• Are otherwise legally permitted to use.

If you believe content hosted through Lorejack infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, you may contact Lorejack with relevant information regarding the claimed infringement.

Lorejack may remove or restrict access to content when appropriate. Lorejack reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Lorejack respects user privacy. Lorejack does not sell, rent, or trade personal user information to third parties. Lorejack may collect and process limited information necessary to:

• Provide the Service.
• Maintain account functionality.
• Improve reliability and security.
• Respond to user requests.
• Prevent abuse or unauthorized activity.

Information may be shared only when required by law, necessary to provide essential services, or needed to protect the rights, safety, or security of Lorejack, users, or others.

Lorejack is provided as a free service. Lorejack may accept voluntary donations or community support contributions. Donations do not create ownership rights, membership rights, or guarantees of future access to specific features. Lorejack reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service if necessary.

You agree not to use Lorejack to:

• Upload illegal content.
• Upload malicious software.
• Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to compromise the security of the Service.
• Use the Service for fraudulent purposes.

Lorejack strives to maintain reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Lorejack may modify features, update systems, perform maintenance, or change these Terms when necessary. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Lorejack is provided “as is” and “as available.” Lorejack does not guarantee:

• That the Service will always be available.
• That the Service will be error-free.
• That uploaded content will never be lost.
• That the Service will meet every user’s expectations.

Users should maintain their own backups of important campaign materials.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lorejack and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Loss of User Content.
• Loss of profits.
• Business interruption.
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service.
• Legal disputes arising from User Content uploaded by users.

Lorejack may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may request deletion of their accounts and associated personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.
